Our Coaching Team

Our Director Loretta Brown is an Accredited Master Coach, highly experienced in Leadership Development and Executive Coaching. Loretta leads a team providing premium-coaching services to diverse clients throughout Australasia. Each coach is carefully selected for professionalism and effectiveness

The NZCMC has over 15 Associate Mentors, Coaches and Supervisors throughout New Zealand and Australia.  Each coach:

  • Has a minimum 5 years supervised practice in coaching and leadership development.
  • Has a minimum undergraduate qualification and has undertaken accredited coach specific training.
  • Is a member of professional organisation (for example, ANZASW, NZPA, NZAC, ICF, EMCC).
  • Undertakes regular Supervision for continuous professional development
  • Maintains a minimum of 15 hours professional development per annum.
  • Adherence to the NZCMC Code of Ethics and Standards
  • Has personal indemnity insurance
  • Agrees to a client evaluation of practice being carried out by NZCMC.
  • Associate contracts are reviewed annually with the assessment of client evaluations, forming a significant component of the review

A leadership expert and executive coach, Loretta Brown specialises in the development of wisdom and leadership. In thousands of hours of conversation with executives in all sectors, Loretta knows individual, team and organisational leadership challenges inside out.

The desire to "change the world" meant an early career in community development, social work and social change. Over the past twenty years Loretta has been developing leaders in one to one coaching engagements, as well as within executive leadership programmes.  As Corporate Programme Director at the New Zealand Leadership Institute, University of Auckland, Business School, Loretta has led long-term leadership development programmes with companies such as Westpac and Vector.

Patti Gwynne

Associate Certified Coach (ICF)
Senior Associate Coach

Patti has been mentoring and coaching since 2001 and is a Senior Associate with the New Zealand Coaching and Mentoring Centre. She works with CEO's, senior managers and emerging leaders wanting to step up to the development of Leadership competencies to enhance their personal growth and strategic thinking. Patti utilises her own experiences in Senior leadership roles and understands the challenges and often lonely space that senior leaders occupy. Her expertise and passion has developed specifically around Coaching for ‘Resilience' and 'Wise Leadership'.
